MURFREESBORO, TN—First Community Mortgage announced today it will be the Corporate Sponsor for the Colby & Cate Charity. Their annual Birthday Bash will be held on August 6, 2016 which benefits Riley Hospital for children in Carmel, Indiana.

Colby & Cate’s Charities is a nonprofit organization raising and donating funds and other items for chronically ill and critically injured children.

“Colby & Cate’s Charities is near and dear to my heart, being from Indiana myself,” said Andy Voyles, Executive Vice President/ Director of Lending of First Community Mortgage. “This charity is much more than just the event they do, and it’s a great opportunity to be associated with them.”

Colby and Cate’s Charities was started back in 2002 by the Lutz family. Their son, Colby, was turning 1 and the Lutz family explained to their guests that in lieu of gifts for Colby they should be donated to Riley Hospital for Children, a not-for-profit organization. Colby & Cate’s Charities has grown from 2 SUV’s filled with toys to raising $73,754 in 2014.
