First Community Mortgage Adds Transformational Digital Change Leader as CIO

Andrew Badstubner has deep experience in technology management, software development and product engineering over 20+ years; expects to help drive national mortgage organization’s continued growth

Andrew Badstubner is the new Chief Information Officer for First Community Mortgage (FCM). The technology management, software development and product engineering executive has 20+ years’ experience building high-growth and disruptive digital technologies. Badstubner previously served as CIO at NewRez LLC and Ditech Holding Corporation.

“Andrew’s expertise in transformational digital change promotes exponential organizational growth by providing engagement experiences that are fast, easy, and accurate to all stakeholders,” says Dan Smith, President of First Community Mortgage. “Andrew is an exceptional leader with great strategic vision. Badstubner earned a B.S. in Finance from Binghamton University and an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. As a volunteer, he served as the Founding President of ATL CTO, Atlanta’s forum for product development leaders, and also served on the Technology Steering Committee for MUST Ministries, which provides a homeless shelter, food pantry, and job skills training center.

Middle Tennessee-based national mortgage firm’s Christine Conley-Cundiff among 31 award winners recognized by Mortgage Women Magazine

First Community Mortgage’s Christine Conley-Cundiff, EVP of Retail Operations and Joint Ventures, has been recognized as a 2022 Mortgage Star by Mortgage Women Magazine (MWM). Conley-Cundiff is among 31 winners selected for this honor nationwide; awards are being presented today in New Orleans at the annual Mortgage Star Conference.

“Christine works hard to make retail processes better so the client experience is top notch – not just within our organization, but in the industry,” says Dan Smith, President of FCM. “She also takes pride not just in production numbers while creating an exceptional mortgage experience for all stakeholders– to ensure both profitability and high customer satisfaction. Judges’ comments note Senior Vice President of HR Tammie Russell’s vital role and innovation for rapidly growing national mortgage organization

NASHVILLE, Tenn., May 6, 2022 — First Community Mortgage’s Tammie Russell was named a Bronze Stevie Award winner in the Human Resources Executive category in the 20th Annual American Business Awards.

National recognition as ‘Top Producers’ for three from First Community Mortgage

Harter, Greg Janicki and Claudia Rios have been recognized as Top Originators 2022 by National Mortgage Professional (NMP) Magazine. In addition, Rios also has been recognized as a Top Female Originator by Mortgage Women Magazine. Rankings by both publications are based on production volume during the prior year.

First Community Mortgage Recognizes Annual ‘We Serve Four’ Award Winners

MURFREESBORO, Tenn., Feb. 24, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — First Community Mortgage recently recognized five team members with its Third Annual We Serve Four Achievement Awards. The ceremony was held at the Stones River Country Club.

We Serve Four recognizes employees who have gone above and beyond in service of four cornerstone areas: customers, employees, community, and shareholders. The Lorenzo Adams Community Service Award also was presented as part of the festivities.

The award winners in the Non-manager Category are Laura Wade, Murfreesboro, and Kim Yarbrough, Murfreesboro. In the Manager Category, the winners are Jennifer Bourgeois, Atlanta, and Amy Crutcher, Murfreesboro. Debi Folkman, Florida, received the Lorenzo Adams Award.

“A key facet of these awards is that nominations are made throughout the year by fellow employees, which we believe underscores both our culture of shared responsibility and our everyday emphasis on stellar service,” says Keith Canter, CEO and one of the founders of FCM, who presented the awards.

Nominees for the Lorenzo Adams Community Service Award, in addition to Folkman, were Autumn Gordon and Carrie Smotherman. Adams served as Vice President of Wholesale Operations and was a revered FCM team member who was known as resourceful and team-oriented; he passed away suddenly in 2020. His colleagues established the award to honor him, and this is the second year it has been presented.

“Our team goes above and beyond every day, and all of the nominated and winning individuals take it one step further by putting the We Serve Four mission first daily without hesitation,” Canter says. “Likewise, ‘Zo, as we called our friend Lorenzo, would want us to keep moving forward with the positive attitude and can-do energy he exemplified, so naming an award for him is a fitting tribute.”
